Happy Day.....

Happy Monday!

I wanted to share a quick card before I settle in for the night.

It was 4 years ago today that we adopted our little girl, which is also my husband's birthday (we'll leave the number of his age to your imagination).  So I made this little card for him to give to her to show that the day is special for both of them.

The layout for the card was inspired by MFT's current Sketch Challenge.

Planning a Great 2016

Happy 2016!

This year Miss Kate Cuttables will have challenge each month over on in the Facebook group.

The challenge will run from the second Tuesday through the 4th Tuesday of each month.  Winners will be announced, in the group, Friday of challenge end week.

January's Challenge is "Anything Goes."

The only requirements for the challenge is to follow the theme of the month and use a Miss Kate Cuttables' file in your creation, including any/all freebies you have.

............................................................................................................

For my project, I created a full year planner.

I started with a basic mini binder.  I love the colors of this one.  :-)
Then I used MANY Miss Kate Cuttables files.
I scanned the borders/banners/background files to find the perfect headers for each month.

I used the pngs included in each cutting file to add a bit of details for birthdays and holidays.

For those times when appointments come up or new birthday days are known, I created stickers.

And of course I couldn't resist embellishing a bit.

Miss Kate Cuttables Winter Greetings

Happy Thursday!

It's my day over at Miss Kate Cuttables' blog.

For my project, I created a set of note cards to use this Winter season.

I imported Miss Kate's files into Cricut Design Space to create the front panels of my cards.
I cut the snowflakes out of MFT Kraft card stock and stamped them with a background stamp and kraft dye ink.  Then the panels were layered on Neenah Solar White card stock.

For a bit of color, I die cut the snowflakes again from MFT SnoCone card stock, then clear glitter embossed them.

The cards measure approximately 4 inches square.

The cutting files I can be found HERE on the
Miss Kate Cuttables site.
