Today I'm up on Miss Kate Cuttables' blog.
I created some note cards to have on hand for family and friends. We know many, including ourselves, that have lost a pet in the last few weeks. It can be a very difficult thing to accept and process, so I wanted to be able to let them know that we are thinking about them.
The inspiration for my cards came from Nichole's SSS Sympathy cards.
I cut the paw prints out of SSS Fog and Smoke card stocks, then reverse inlaid them so that there was a bit of color contrast.
I cut the hearts out of My Favorite Things card stock and a heart die.
Half of the cards have a stamped sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp & Hero Arts set. The other half are blank so that I can tailor them to the occasion.
The cutting file I used can be found HERE on the Miss Kate Cuttables site.
This is a wonderful card for those grieving over the loss of a beloved furry friend. Thanks for the inspiration for sympathy cards which, from my experience, are the very hardest cards to make. Well done!

I like the glitter on the paws and the red hearts are a perfect touch.
