More Fun with Winnie & Walter

Happy Wednesday (again)!

I'm back (again) with another creation inspired by the Winnie & Walter Birthday Bash.

I know, I know... You're wondering why am I posting this all now?  Well, as Mom/Wife/Housekeeper/Teacher/Etc, who knows what tomorrow will bring and while there is a bit of down time, I thought I'd show you all my creations.  Plus, I am SO excited to show you.  *giggling*

My next creation is a tag for the Gold + WatercolorOver the Edge, and Anything but a Card challenges.

I enjoy making tags..I do not create enough of them.

For this tag, I used a piece of 6x6 piece of Canson cold pressed watercolor paper.  I heat embossed some small circles (which now look like polka dots) for a bit of emboss resist.

I sprayed the watercolor paper with Cracked Pistachio, Lucky Clover, and Twisted Citron distress sprays.  After applying the sprays, I added a lot of water so the colors could mix and flow.

I stamped the sentiment from the Big, Bold, and Party stamp set from Winnie & Walter,  and the 'streamers' from a stamp set released in the Stamp of Approval Young at Heart collection in Versamark ink so I could gold heat emboss them.

Can you tell I LOVE the Big, Bold, and ??? stamp sets?

I love gold and green together.  Perfect for a March birthday, don't you think?

I cut the piece down to about 3 7/8 x 4 inches, and added a piece of white card stock to the back to hide all the messiness.  The corners were angled with a corner chomper.  A crop-a-dile for a hole and some gold ribbon to finish it off.

..................................................................................................

Thanks for sticking around through my rambling and many posts today.  I have one more; and I thought I would add it to the end here, instead of a whole new post.  :-)

This card was inspired by the color challenge.

These are not colors I typically work with...but they are beautiful!

I created a panel from Tim Holtz Distress watercolor paper using Abandoned Coral, Peacock Feathers, and Twisted Citron Distress ink pads.  I smooshed them on my craft mat, spritz with water, and ran the card stock through it.

Once dry, I used a stencil by Winnie & Walter from the Stamp of Approval Young at Heart collection with a damp paper towel to create a some texture.

I used the same stencil, my Twisted Citron ink pad, and a blending tool to create the panel for the right side of the card.  To tie in all the colors, a strip of watercolor paper colored with Peacock Feathers Distress ink was added.

For the sentiment panel, I used a Winnie & Walter cutting file and my Silhouette Cameo to create a mask.  After applying the mask, I ink blended some Abandoned Coral Distress ink, and then spritz with Perfect Pearls Mist.

The panel was free cut to fit the size I wanted, and adhered with 3M foam tape.  A few clear sequins from Doodlebug were added around the sentiment panel.

Woo!  That was a lot of fun.  Thank you for hanging in there with me.
