Winnie & Walter Birthday Bash Attendee

Happy Wednesday!

It's feeling more and more like Spring here in the Midwest?  Still a bit of snow/ice on the ground, but the temperatures are lovely.  I'll take what I can get.  ;-)

I have been spending the last few days crafting some hours away with inspiration from Winnie & Walter's Birthday Bash.  Have you checked out all the inspiration?

My card was inspired by the Image Inspiration post, with a splash of the Inlaid Die Cut post.

I was really inspired by the colors and patterns/texture in the image.

I started out designing my card with Winnie & Walter's Cut File Basics Vol. 1.  (Did you know that it is a free file?)

I cut the paper with my Silhouette Cameo from  MFT Whipped Cream and Insulation Pink card stock

I LOVE these colors together.  I adhered the panel and inlays on a piece of Neenah Solar White card stock.  To add some texture and interest (like the pillow in the image), I stamped the panel with Versamark and a Damask background stamp, then clear heat embossed the panel.

I adhered the panel on a black card base created from MFT Black Licorice card stock.  The sentiment flag was cut from the same digital file.  The sentiment (from Winnie & Walter's The Big, Bold, & You stamp set) was heat embossed with Ranger Princess Gold embossing powder.

To finish off the look, I added some Pretty Pink Posh gold sequins.
I love how this card turned out.  So feminine and elegant.

  1. I'm really loving the sophistication of this card too! Great colors, pattern, and simple sentiment. Well done!
