Hoppy Easter

Happy Tuesday!!!

Today I am sharing with you my Action Wobbles Design Team project.

My inspiration for my card was this week's Mojo Monday Sketch.

I created a 3.5 x 5.5 card.  The image is from Verve Stamps.  I stamped the image in MFT Black Licorice Hybrid Ink and colored him with my Copics.  Isn't he the cutest?

I used the sketch for my basic layout.  The base mat and purple turned square mat are from a DCWV mat stack.  I cut two fishtale flags from MFT and stamped them with Sour Apple ink and a Peachy Keen Stamps background stamp.

The inside of the card was stamped with the Peachy Keen Background stamp and the Sour Apple ink.  The sentiment is from the same Verve stamp set.

Blessings of Spring

Happy Friday!

(This is my second post for today.  Be sure to scroll down, or click here, for my previous post.)

Today is a new 3D challenge over at Cardz TV.

The DT challenge is to create a 3D card, bag, or treat box.

My inspiration for this challenge came from the January 2015 issue of Papercraft Inspirations.

Although my card isn't as neat and tidy as the inspiration one...I do LOVE how it looks.

I used Papertrey Ink cardstock for the flowers, leaves, box, and card base.

The sentiment is from Cardz TV Think Spring set.  The sentiment is originally in two lines.   So I creatively cut them apart to fit on the box front that way that I wanted.  I used my MISTI tool and Memento Rich Cocoa ink to stamp it.

To finish the inside...I added some more patterned paper and stamped a sentiment from Cardz TV Happy Days stamp set with MFT's Black Licorice Hybrid ink.

Here is a view of the two stamp sets I used today....

Thinking About You

Happy Friday!
I wanted to share my Miss Kate Cuttables DT project.
Also, don't forget to get today's FREEBIE.

Here is my creation:

The inspiration for my card came from Dawn at Dawn's Stamping Thoughts.  She created a flapped gate fold card.  For my card, I used Miss Kate Cuttable's Nested Labels and Cricut Design Space to create my card base with CTMH cardstock.

The daffodils were cut from My Favorite Things cardstock.  I added clear Wink of Stella to the blooms.

The largest bloom is popped up with foam tape...to give a bit of dimension.

Both sentiments (inside & out) are from the new Lawn Fawn Scripty Sayings stamp set.  I stamped them in My Favorite Things Black Licorice Hybrid ink.

Smile.............

Happy Tuesday!!!

Today I am sharing with you my Action Wobbles Design Team project.

My inspiration for this card was the Lawnscaping Challenge.

I bought the Lawn Fawn Love You A Latte stamp set a while ago...and I haven't found the right creation to use it....until I saw the Lawnscaping Challenge.  I knew as soon as I saw it...I had to use the set....finally.

The main panel is a piece of Ranger watercolor paper.  I used Lawn Fawn's Flirty Frames stamps and dies to create the focus of the panel.  I used a masking technique for the coffee cups.   Don't you just love the mustache?   He's SO cute!!!

I colored the image with Tim Holtz Distress Markers and ink pads,   I added clear Wink of Stella to the main coffee cup.  And popped it up on an Action Wobble.

 (Wobble in Action)

I stamped the coffee bean repeatedly on the panel, then used a water brush to soften the impression.

To tie the front together, I used a Copic Spica glitter pen to highlight the sentiment.

Kiss Me!!

Happy Friday!

The new 3-D challenge for Cardz TV is live.

The challenge is to create a St. Patrick's Day treat box/bag.

I created treat bags.  I used the packaging from some dies for the bags.  I bought treat bags from the craft store, but these bags seemed to work so much better.

I cut 3 1/2 x 4 inch pieces of Papertrey Ink Karft cardstock for the bag toppers.  I stamped them with versamark ink using Peachy Keen Stamps Lucky Day Shamrock background stamp.

I hole punched the tag to thread some ribbon through.

To add some sparkle, I traced the sentiment with a clear Wink of Stella brush pen.

Hoppy Easter

Happy Tuesday!!!

Today I am sharing with you my Action Wobbles Design Team project.

I used my CTMH card cartridge and Explore to create this simple card.

 (Wobble in Action)

For the front of the card base, I used the MISTI to repeat stamp the polka dot background.  The card is approximately 5 x 7 when folded (so I could make the rabbit large enough for an Action Wobble), and the background stamp was 4.25 x 5.5 stamp...so the MISTI was perfect for aligning it properly.
After I stamped it, the dots are highlighted with clear wink of Stella....just like the inside greeting (see picture below).

Red Carpet Studio Challenge - Distress

I'm hosting this week's challenge over at Red Carpet Studio Challenge blog.

The challenge is inspired by a movie near and dear to me.....

This movie was filmed right in my neighborhood!!!  EEK!!

The scene below was filmed just 2 blocks from my house!   Cool huh???

The buildings in this picture have not been altered or touched up.  They actually do look like that.  This part was filmed on the steps of the Masonic Lodge.  When this scene was being filmed, I was across the street with my granddaughter snapping pictures.  I have several snapshots of scenes that make it into the final movie.      And the first day of filming...my husband and I were out for a walk and stumbled quite by accident upon a fan greeting by Johnny Depp and the cast!!!   They were great wit the crowd doing a meet and greet.

Now that the history lesson is over....................ha ha......................here's my project.....

I created a card using a Saturated Canary digital stamp.  I colored her with Copic markers.

And I distressed the edges of all my papers with a Tim Holtz distress tool and Gathered Twigs distress ink.

The lace is from Hero Arts.  The flowers are from Glimpz of Memories.  The pearls, patterned papers, and paper pen are from Miriam's Crafting Supplies/The Craft Source.

And I couldn't leave well enough alone....so I had to add some clear Wink of Stella to her dress.

This was my first (ever) attempt at a shabby/chic type card.  I LOVE the way it turned out.

Make sure to link up your creation by April 2, 2015 by midnight CST to qualify for this challenge and to be entered to win this months prize!
