Bonjour....Ombre Style

Happy Wednesday Evening!

I have another card to share.  I know...shocker!  *laughing*

This card is for the Newton's Nook challenge.

I created an ombre background with Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, and Picked Raspberry Distress Inks.  I chose these colors because the stamp set is Paris themed..and I always associate pink with Paris.  It's the City of Love, right?

I used Canson XL watercolor paper for the panel.  I ran out of distress watercolor paper and found that this paper works beautifully with distress inks.

After I heat dried the panel, I stamped (and heat embossed in gold) the images and sentiment from Newton Dreams of Paris stamp set.

I cut the panel with a Simon Says Stamp stitched rectangle die.

I adhered the panel to a card base made from PTI Select Stampers White card stock.  It's my favorite card stock to use for card bases.

To finish off the inside, I stamped another sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black Ink and the hearts in Spun Sugar Distress Ink.

Celebrate....

Happy Wednesday!

Before we head out for the day of doctor appointments, lunch, and other errands, I wanted to share this card with you.

This card was inspired by the Mood Challenge at the Share the Love week.

The gold and black & white stripes stood out to me.

For the card front, I stamped the sentiment from Winnie & Walter's Big, Bold, and Party stamp set.  I embossed the larger word in Wow Ultra White powder and stamped the smaller section in Delicata golden glitz.

I adhered two striped of gold polka dot vellum to each side of the black panel.

The inside sentiment (from the same stamp set) was white embossed on a black strip and adhered to the card base made Essentials by Ellen White Linen card stock.

For a finishing touch, I added some Pretty Pink Posh sparkling sequins to the front and some gold splatters from Heidi Swapp Color Shine Spray to both front and the inside of the card.

Another Share the Love Week Creation

Hello...again.  <insert smile emoticon>

I have another card I want to share for the Winnie & Walter and Ellen Hutson collaboration.

This card is inspired by day 3 (Background) and Day 4 (Transparent).  I just cannot seem to separate the themes.

For the background I used Winnie & Walter's Ring in the Celebration (released in a Stamp of Approval collection) to create the background.  I stamped the images in Lake House ink from WPlus9 with my MISTI.  I cut the panel with a Sweat Pea die set, also included in the stamp collection, along with a panel from black card stock to layer.

I added some random black dots to coordinate with the other elements of the card.

I stamped the sentiment with Essentials By Ellen Basic Alpha in Versafine Onyx Black ink and clear heat embossed it.   Flagged the ends of the strip and adhered to the card base.

To finish the card, I added a few Pretty Pink Posh sparkling clear sequins.

 Happy Tuesday!

Today, I am sharing a card that was inspired by the Winne & Walter Share the Love Week (featuring Essentials by Ellen).

The first and second days are about florals and sentiments.    I tried to create separate cards for each days theme...but somehow I couldn't.  It was just natural for me to combine.  :-)  My card was also inspired by Jennifer McGuire's cards using one ink.

The challenges also require using a Winnie & Walter products along with an Essentials by Ellen product.  My card uses Winnie & Walter's The Bold, The Big, and The You.  I LOVE their Big & Bold series.  For the Ellen product, I used Essentials by Ellen Linen cardstock.

For the flowers, I used the Simon Says Stamp with WPlus9 Many Thanks stamp set.  I did only use one color of ink for each element.  The flowers were stamped in WPlus9 Sweet Nectar, and the leaves in WPlus9 Last Leaf ink.

I stamped the greeting in Versafine Onyx Black ink and clear heat embossed.

The panel was cut with an MFT die.  I love the pierced detail on this die.  I added a few enamel dots.

The panel was mounted on foam tape and adhered to the card base.

Coffee Beans, Rainbow, Sparkle, and Latte

It's the last day of the Summer Coffee Lovers Bloghop.  I know...it's sad!

But I do have one last card to share....

I used the coffee bean from Lawn Fawn's Love You A Latte stamp set to stamp a white panel with versamark ink.  The panel was clear heat embossed.  Then ink blended with distress inks.

When the panel was completely dry, I spritz it with a Perfect Pearls mist and die cut it with a Simon Says Stamp Stitched rectangle die.

For a front focal point, I die cut a tag from MFT Vellum with my Cricut Explore.  I stamped a sentiment from the same Lawn Fawn stamp set with Versmark and heat embossed with a powder from my stash.  I thought the color was perfect...and the bit of metallic flecks was lovely.

I added an eyelet and some black/white twine and adhered to the card fron strategically so that no adhesive showed.

I stamped the inside with a few beans in matching colors to the front panel.  Added a few black enamel hearts to finish off the card.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:

Stinkin' Cute....and Coffee

I am sharing with you today two more cards for the Coffee Lovers Summer Blog Hop.

I used Lawn Fawn's Stinkin Cute and Love You A Latte stamp sets.  I colored the skunks in with Copics and fussy cut them out.  The tea cup was stamped with Ranger ink with a heart (from the Stinkin' Cute stamp set) in Lawn Fawn Hippo ink.  I added Glossy accents tothe cups.

For a place to mount the skunks, I cut a fish tail banner from white card stock stamped with a background stamp in Lawn Fawn Yeti ink.

I wrapped a bit of Timeless Twine around each banner.  Added some glossy accents to one and deco pearls to the other.

They were both mounted to a Lawn Fawn Sunflower notecard.

I used second generation stamping to decorate the inside with the same stamps.

Coffee Loving Papercrafters 2016 Summer Blog Hop

Today kicks off the Coffee Lovers Summer Hop!
It's been a busy day around here at Graham Manor...grass cutting, cooking, house painting, tree trimming..... but I do have a card to share with you.

I created a coffee mug shaped card. I used Miss Kate Cuttables Hot Cocoa SVG file for the base.

The front of the card was stamped using the Stamp of Approval Beautiful World collection on Neenah Solar White card stock in Versafine Onyx Black ink . Then clear heat embossed.
I inked the panel with Worn Lipstick and Ripe Persimmon Distress Inks. My summer inspiration was roses. I love the smell of roses.
I added some Spectrum Noir clear glitter pen to the 'coffee' and Spun Sugar Stickles to the inside of the mug.
*note...the panel is not completely glued down..a gift card can be inserted under the coffee. *smile*

I added a die cut You from that same Stamp of Approval collection cut from glitter card stock and black craft foam.

The inside of the card was stamped using anothe stamp set from the collection.

Miss Kate's Facebook Challenge

Happy Tuesday!!

It's time for a new challenge over on the Miss Kate's Facebook Group.

May's Challenge is "Dad."

The requirements for the challenge is to follow the theme of the month and use a Miss Kate Cuttables' file in your creation, including any/all freebies you have.

The challenge will run from the 2nd Tuesday through the 4th Tuesday of each month.  Winners will be announced, in the group, Friday of challenge end week.

Here's what I created...

I used Miss Kate's World's Best Dad file.  I cut all the pieces from MFT card stock with my Cricut Explore.

I added clear Spectrum Noir glitter to the 'best' and water of the Earth.  And glossy accents on Dad.

I repleaced the phillips screw tops with metallic pearls for a bit more interest.

I stamped a gray card base with a diagnol background stamp and placed the die cut on the front panel slightly at an angle.

For a second and third car, I created tie shaped cards from Miss Kate's #1 Dad Title.

I layered the tie with two complimentary patterns and stamped/white heat embossed the titles.

I am entering my cards into the Simon Says Stamp Father's Day/For A Guy Challenge.

Hello.....

Happy Thursday!

Today is my day to post over at the Miss Kate Cuttables' Blog

I created a card using Miss Kates' Hello Sunshine Title and Independence Borders cutting files.

I used the triangle border from the set with my Cricut Explore to create two cuts for the corners of the card to frame the hello from Neenah Solar White card stock.

I stampted the hearts, circles, and flowers with Lawn Fawn Mermaid, Yeti, and Fake Tan inks.

I cut the hello five times from MFT Orange Fizz card stock and stacked them to make it pop off the card.

For finishing touchs, I added some Orange Peel Stickles to the center of the flowers and glossy accents to the Hello.

I am entering my card in the following....
