My first project with the paper and die pack is a mini album.  I used a project sheet from Graphic 45.  I have been wanting to make this  album for a while.  And this paper pack/die cut set was perfect for it.

My next creations are layouts.  I have three children who have lifebooks that we like to add to as the years go by.

The inspiration for my layout is Sketch 5 from this TSR challenge. The Easter egg was used instead of a circle to help ground the layout and establish the theme.  The egg is perfect peeking out from all the great papers.  The flag is a piece from a theme park svgs file of Miss Kate's.  I didn't use a traditional title.  I took a word form the Easter Word Art File.  When it was adhered, I curved it slightly to fit the egg shape.  Ice Stickles were added to give the whole layout a bit of something.

The inspiration for this layout is from Sketch Savvy #153.  I added a title from the die cut pack, adhered with foam tape, and an Easter egg from Miss Kate's Set of 4 Easter eggs.

For this layout, I use sketch 1 from Creative Memories.  I cut all the patterned paper with my Silhouette Cameo and Miss Kate's blade.  I added Easter eggs, in place of the flowers from the sketch.  Some of them I stamped with a Peachy Keen background stamp and Unicorn Pigment Ink.

MKC April Facebook Challenge

It's challenge time for Miss Kate Cuttable FB group.  The theme is Bunnies.

For my project, I created two box cards. A girl and boy version.

I created the base card with a Lori Whitlock Silhouette file and an ivory card stock.

The layered inserts I created using Boy Bunny Holidng CarrotGirl Bunny Holding EggEaster Borders, and Easter Eggs Title.

I added Stickles to the title, bow of the boy bunny, and the large Easter egg of the girl bunny card.

The greeting and the eggs were adhered with foam tape.  I didn't like the way they looks flat on the patterned paper.

I look forward to seeing your creations in the challenge.

Thanks for spending time with me.

Baby Boy Card

Hey!  Today is my day to post for the MKC DT design inspiration.  For my project, I created a baby boy card.

I have a grand son due in a few weeks, so I thought I'd make a card for him.

I love, love, love how this card turned out.

I used 3 MKC cutting files, Baby Mine - BoyBaby Mine Title Boy, and Valentine Elephant.  All pieces, but the elephant, were cut from MFT card stock.  It cuts like butter with MKC blades in my Silhouette Cameo.  The elephant was cut from a Simple Stories paper pad.  The base panel paper is from an embossed DCWV paper pad.

I put the elephant on pop dots for some dimension.

And added Spectrum Noir glitter pen to the letters.

The inside of the card was simply decorated to allow for a handwritten message.

Thanks for take moment to visit me.

Action Wobbles April Challenge

It's time for a new challenge at Action Wobbles.

This month's theme is Easter.

I created a card for my 7 year old granddaughter.  She is at the age where silly jokes and bodily functions are hilarious.  When her mother, my daughter, was younger, she would go around saying, "Guess What?  Chicken Butt!"  Then laugh and laugh.  When making this card, I thought of those times to draw my inspiration.

I wanted a shaking bunny bottom for the front of my card.  The MKC White Bunny svg was perfect for what I had in mind.  Instead of using the front, I used only the base of the image and turned his feet, to mimic like he was on his knees.  It worked perfectly!

Look at his little bottom shake!

The sentiment flag was created by using MKC's Miss Olivia font with my Silhouette Cameo and a Bic gel pen.  I created an inset of the font so the pen would draw a more solid image, instead of just an outline.  Then traced the letters with a Spica Clear Glitter Pen to give it a bit of sparkle.

The inside of the card was using doing the same as the front flag.

I think my granddaughter going to get a tickle from this card.
