Cardz TV Sketch Challenge

Happy Friday!

Today is a new Sketch challenge over at Cardz TV.

Create a Christmas card using sketch #10, #11, or #12.

I was drawn to sketch 10.  I just love this sketch.

I used pattern paper from Hobby Lobby and polka dot paper from a Dots & Stripes paper pad.

I stamped the sentiment from Cardz TV Naughty or Nice Stamp Set.  And then heat embossed it with glitter embossing powder.

I used a crop-a-dile for the corners of the sentiment panel.

I decorated the inside with the same sketch.

The challenge will run from the 2nd Tuesday through the 4th Tuesday of each month.  Winners will be announced, in the group, Friday of challenge end week.

My cards were inspired by this pinterest pin.

I love snowman. I mean LOVE them.  As soon as I saw this pin, I knew I must make them.

Christmas Decor with Vinyl

Happy Thursday!

It's my day to post over at Miss Kate Cuttables.

I have been playing around with paint and vinyl.  And Miss Kate's files are perfect for vinyl!

My first project was created with a wooden plank from the craft department at Walmart.  I spray painted it with white pain to give it a chalky finish.

The file was cut with my Cricut Explore and vinyl.

My second project uses a glass block that I've had in my stash for about two years.  ;-)

The file was cut and layers on the glass block.  I didn't do anything fancy..but I love how it turned out.

I put some red battery operated lights in the block.  So pretty at night on the mantel.

Miss Kate's Facebook challenge will start next Tuesday, and my projects would be perfect for the theme.  *wink, wink*
