Garden Flag

Happy Thursday!!

It's my day on Miss Kate's Blog

When the family and I got out to a campground, everyone seems to have these cute signs in front of their sites....so I had to make me one.  :)

For my garden flag, I used  Miss Kate's Plumeria Flowers file.

I did leave off a few of the layers to simply my design.

I just LOVE how it turned out.  I cannot wait to display it.

Anchors Away

Happy Thursday!!

It's my day on Miss Kate's Blog.

I have some more bathroom decor to share.

I used Miss Kate's Anchor file to add some pizzazz to hand towels and a nightlight.

I had so much fun decorating our half bath.

Set Sail

Happy Thursday!!

It's my day on Miss Kate's Blog.

I created some bathroom decor.  The base is from a dresser drawer that I took apart and ask my husband to cut down.  I painted the based with chalk paint.

I used Miss Kate's Anchor and Lighthouse files and cut stencils with my Silhouette machine and Oracal stencil material.

The images were painted in another color of chalk paint.  I added a vinyl saying.

All card stock is from My Favorite Things.

Thinking of You.....

Happy Thursday!

Today's my post day over at Miss Kate Cuttables' Blog.  I have a simply lovely easel card to share with you.

I used Miss Kate's Doodle Flower Group to create the focal panel.  I used the outlines of the flowers and created a bunch with my Silhouette Software.

Instead of cutting...I printed the panel so I could color it with Copics.  I added a touch of white gel pen and Prismacolor pencils too.  The sentiment was created using the Miss Poppy Font

I couldn't find my sequins...GASP... but I did add some Wink of Stella to help bring the card together.

Thanks for spending time with me.  Have a wonderful day!

Forever

Happy Thursday!

It's another beautiful day here....and it's my day at Miss Kate's blog.

Today's card is for Valentine's Day..  Who doesn't love getting cards and candy (maybe flowers, too?) on Valentine's Day?

As many of you know, there have been some recent life events in our family.  So each holiday will be more celebrated than in the past.

One thing I do want to be sure to make know every day...not just Valentine's Day...is how much my husband means to me.  How much he is loved and cherished.  I have been making cards to place in small places at random times for him.  Below is one of them.

I created this card using Miss Kate's Love You Forever file.  I used the file to create a cascading stream of hearts.  The front panel is popped up on foam tape so that hearts look like they are floating.

I used WPlus9 carstock.  I must admit it took me a while to determine the proper settings for the word forever.  But I got it..and it was worth all the trouble.

Thanks for stopping by.  :)

Miss Kate Cuttables January Challenge

Happy Monday!

It's time for a new challenge at Miss Kate Cuttables.

2017 was a difficult year for our family.  My husband was diagnosed with Cancer, and it is not curable.  So 2018 is a new year with many adventures ahead.  We have thrown a bit of caution to the wind and will be hitting the road from time to time...seeing the country and whatever our hearts, and budget, desires.

In celebration of my husband being a January baby, I have created him a birthday card for the challenge.

My card was inspired by this post.  I used my Silhouette America software, a few different MKC fonts, and a rectangle to create the focal panel.

I embossed the blue panel with a mesh folder from the Paper Studio.  The twine is from the Twinery.
All card stock is from WPlus9.

Please head over to Miss Kate's to check out all the other projects and to submit your creation.

Halloween Layout

Happy Thursday!

I have some fun layouts to share today.

I was looking at Pinterest and came across this pin.  I got me totally inspired.  I loved it..and knew I had to make layouts for the kids lifebooks.

I created the sunburst at the top of the layout with my Silhouette software and a Hobby Lobby paper pad.  I thought the patterns were a perfect pair for Miss Kate's Files.

I added some enamel drops and Nuvo glitter drops for some accents.

I used the Halloween SpiderTrick-or-Treat title, Ghost Set, Trick or Treat,  Cute Mummy,  VampireGrim ReaperNo Tricks, Just Treats, and Trick or Treat title files.  Some of the files I used print and cut feature and some I cut as SVG's and layers them.

I haven't added any pictures yet.  I still need to print them.  Isn't that always the case?
