Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Happy Friday!

Today is the last day of the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.  And I have one last card to share with you.

I used a Limited Runs Stamps image.    This is image was a freebie offered for the hop.  LOVE it.

I colored the image with Copics.  And added color to the white card stock with distress ink.

I also used a Versamark pen to add come copper embossing powder the word Coffee.

.I used Cardz TV Sketch #3 and a fall themed Bo Bunny Paper Pad for the layout.

I also popped up another cut little bird for a bit of dimension.

Love You A Latte - Fall Style

It's time for the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.
The hop will run from Friday, September 23 - Friday, September 30.

If you haven't guess yet, the theme is Fall projects with a coffee, tea, &/or cocoa image in your project. When posting on any social media, please use the hashtag #fall2016clh.

Now....my first project...

I used MFT Smooth card stock for my base card.  I used the current MFT sketch as my starting point.  To mimic the center panel, I masked and stamped MFT's Simply Circles background stamp (which appears to be retired) with Versafine Vintage Sepia ink.

The wreath was cut using Simon Says Stamp Stitched Leaves with Gumdrop and Orange Fizz card stock.  I originally cut a circle with MFT Stitched Circle Frames from blue violet card stock, but after starting to layer the leaves on it....it became a bit lost and looked odd with a smidge of color popping out.

After arranging the leaves, I added a panel of MFT Vellum with a stamped and clear heat embossed sentiment from Lawn Fawn's Love You A Latte stamp set

After attaching the wreath to the card base, I scattered some Teresa Collins enamel dots in orange and purple.

The inside was simply third generation stamped with an image from the Lawn Fawn stamp set.

I am entering my card into the following challenges...

Hot Dog..It's Your Birthday

Tons of Fun with MFT

Hello!!

I wanted to share with you my third, and final, card for the MFT Superstar Card Contest.
Print

For my cute little card, I used MFT's Adorable Elephants and Blueprints 26.

The background panel was created using Neenah Solar White card stock, Copics, Copic airbrush system, and MFT's Witch Way to the Candy Stamp set (retired).  I stamped and hand cut the cloud from the stamp set out of post-it notes and then airburshed the panel with my Copics.  I cut it with the Blueprints large die.  The card base was created with Sweet Tooth card stock, and I rounded the corners to match the sky panel.

The elephant was stamped on Copic Blending card and colored with Copics.  I fussy cut him out and used a craft knife to create a slit to slide the balloon string through.

The sentiment was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink and clear heat embossed.

The images on the inside of the card were stamped with Blue Breeze ink.  The sentiment from the stamp set was stamped in Versafine Onyx Black ink.

Happiest of Holidays for MFT Superstar Card Design

Happy Friday!

Print

My card was inspired by the current MFT Superstar Contest.

I had this card idea floating around in my head for about a week now.  While scraping paint off the exterior of our 1891 Victorian, I had this idea come together.

I used MFT's Snowflake Fusion coverup die (now retired) to create the background panel.  I cut the panel from Red Hot, Smooth White, and Dill Pickle Card Stock.  Then I inlayed the red and green cut pieces into the white panel.  Yes, by hand...each piece, dot, and oval.  ;-)

Once the background was pieced together, I used Blueprints 25.  I adhered all the die cut pieces to a piece of Neenah card stock (80 lb) with a bit of gap between each piece.  Then onto a card base made from Dill Pickle card stock.

I stamped one of the elves from MFT's Santa's Elves stamp set onto Copic Blending card.  I colored him up with Copics.

After coloring him, I die cut it with MFT's Circle Stax.  From Red Hot card stock, I cut a scalloped circle with MFT's Stitched Mini Scallop Circle Stax.  I love these two layers together.   With just a bit of scallop peeking out.

A sentiment from the Santa's Elves set was manipulated and stamped in Versafine Onyx Black ink and clear heat embossed.  I just love how clear heat embossing makes sentiments pop.

I mounted the elf panel on foam tape.  The elf was embellished with a Spectrum Noir Clear Glitter Brush marker (hat brim, sleeves edges, stockings), gold gel pen on the gift ribbon and hat bell, white dots to his cheeks, and some glossy accents to his buttons and hat bell.

To finish the front, I added some Pretty Pink Posh Marshmallow 4 & 6 mm sequins.

For the inside...I went out of the box.

I took a picture of my colored elf.  Uploaded it to my computer and manipulated it a bit to grayscale it.  I then uploaded it to my Silhouette Design Software and printed him onto Neenah card stock.

I used Blueprints 21 to give the panel a detailed edge, that matches some of the detail in the coverup used on the front of the card.  And now the inside panel elf matches the front elf perfectly.  <3

My card was inspired by the current MFT Superstar Contest.

I created an interactive card featuring the Giraffe (and a sentiment and leaves) from the Sweet Safari Stamp set.

I also used the Sunny Skies Die-namics, Die-namics Grassy Hills, Die-namics Gift Card Grooves, and a retired MFT die for the tree trunks/limbs.   All card stock is MFT.  The giraffee was stamped in MFT Hybrid Black Licorice Ink and colored with Copics.

The giraffe is solid image in the stamp set.   After I colored him up, I snipped him strategically so that I could make his neck extend to make a play on the sentiment.

Meow....with Miss Kate

Happy Thursday!

It's my day to post over at Miss Kate Cuttables blog.

(You can get today's freebie at the store HERE.)

Here's what I created.......

I used Miss Kate's Cat on a Pumpkin file.  I LOVE this cat.

I cut the cat out with my Cricut Explore and MFT card stock.  I added clear Wink of Stella to the grey portions of the cat.

I adhered the cat to a white card base, after inking with Tumbled Glass distress ink.

The sentiments are from a retired Peachy Keen Stamp of the Month.
