Easter Chick in a Basket Card

Happy Tuesday!

It's my day to post for Action Wobbles and I have the cutest Easter chick card to share.

The inspiration for my card was this color palette......

My blues are not as pastel as the color palette..but the colors spoke to me when sifting through my card stock.  HA!

I used Miss Kate's Easter Chick in Basket svg file for my usage.  I cut all the pieces from MFT card stock, with one exception.  The white egg was cut out of the same embossed card stock as the base mat.  I stamped the colored eggs with Hero Arts Unicorn ink and a discontinued Peachy Keen Stamps background stamp to represent speckled eggs.

The inside of the card was simply decorated with a piece of white card stock stamped with the same background stamp and ink as the eggs on the front of the card.

And to top the card off, the chick is on an Action Wobble.

Thanks for visiting!

Hello

Happy Tuesday!  It's a beautiful day here...warm and sunny.   Which matches the card I created for the Action Wobbles blog.

I used Miss Kate's Sun in the Clouds file.  I used the sun's rays in my Silhouette software to create a stencil for the background, inked in Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide, and then inked the bottom with Salty Oxide Distress Oxide.

I cut the sun and clouds out of MFT and Bazzill card stock.  The clouds are on several layers of foam tape to allow the sun to wobble.

The sentiment is stamped in Versamark Onyx black in and heat embossed in clear.

Miss Kate Cuttables' March FB Challenge

It's challenge time for Miss Kate Cuttable FB group.  The theme is Clover/Shamrock.

For my project, I created myself a March t-shirt.  I used the clover from Miss Kate's Leprechaun file.  I wanted a distressed style so I hit up Google.  I found a way to do it in Silhouette DE.

I cut the clover out of Siser easyweed.  I added lucky from Miss Kate's St. Patrick's Day Word Set.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to enter your creation over on in the FB group.

Lucky to Know You

Happy Thursday!  It's March and Spring is on it's way....I hope!  We have had such an unusually brutal Winter here in Wisconsin.  Wishing we were in a warmer climate.  :P  I just keep telling myself  'Spring is coming, Spring is coming.'

And in the Spirit of Spring and in honor of March and St. Patrick's Day, I have a card to share with you today.

My card is a total copy of Kristina Werner's card.  (You can find it here.)  I just love her creations.  They are so visually stunning.

For my card, I watercolored a piece of Canson watercolor paper with Gansai Tambi watercolors.  Then I cut out the sentiment with my Cameo 3 and Miss Kate's Miss Millie Font.

I cut out a couple of clovers from Miss Kate's Leprechaun cut file.   I watercolored them with gold shimmer paint.

The panel was adhered to a card base made from grey MFT cardstock.  I added a line of Stickles around the panel.

The inside was simply stamped with Hero Arts ink and a sentiment from a CardzTV stamp in my stash.

Action Wobble March Challenge

It's time for our first challenge at Action Wobbles.

Our theme this month is St. Patrick's Day.

How cute is this leprechaun?

I just knew this little guy deserved to be on an Action Wobble.

You can find the leprechaun over at Miss Kate Cuttables here.

I cut my leprechaun out of MFT card stock with my Silhouette Cameo 3.  After I assembled him, I added Spectrum Noir glitter pen to his hat, Spun Sugar Stickles to his jacket, and glossy accents to his shoes.

After I assembled the card base from using an old WPlus9 die, MFT stitched fishtail flag dies, WPlus9 enamel dots (no longer available) and an Authentique Natural 6x6 paper pad from my stash.

I stamped the inside with CardzTV stamp (not sold anymore).
