Pretty Pink Posh Inspiration

Happy Monday (again)!

I am SO EXCITED to share this card with you!

Don't you just LOVE it?!?!?!?!?   I love that cat!

I created this card inspired by the Pretty Pink Posh Guest Designer Search

I was inspired by Paulina's card.   I love the shaker and Christmas theme.

I just received my first few sets of Newton's Nook stamps...and I wanted to use the image with Santa's Sleigh silhouette.

I stamped the stars from the set in Versamark ink (and clear embossed) for a resist on Neenah card stock.  I masked Newton, house, Santa/sleigh, and moon before coloring the sky.  The night sky was created with Broken China, Stormy Sky, Seedless Preserves, and Chipped Sapphire distress inks.  The moon was created using Fossilized Amber distress ink.

Newton was colored with Prismacolor Pencils.  The house is just portioned on the stamp, so I took my Copic Multiliner and a T-ruler to finish the image.

I used my Silhouette Cameo and Pixscan mat to create the shaker window out of the moon in the image.  I filled the shaker with Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.  The panel was adhered to two layers of fun foam and put onto a card base made from Papertrey Ink Stampers Select white cardstock.

  1. Absolutely beautiful; so glad you shared on how you did the stars and sky! That was my next question. :) Your work is awesome!

  2. Yes, I absolutely love this card, gorgeous distress blending and such a cute little scene!

  3. Wow - this card is beautiful! I love how you colored in your own house and put a shaker inside of the moon! Such an awesome idea! Thanks so much for sharing!
