Mask-erade Online Card Class

Happy Thursday!

Today I wanted to share with you a few cards inspired by lessons from Day 1 of the Mask-erade onlinc card class.   The class is currently on day 3..so I'm a bit behind.   Two reasons...

The first is these two cuties...

Our family welcomed two new additions to the family over Memorial Day weekend.   And now that they have been with us for a few days, they are definitely a handful.   More comfortable with their environment which means getting into EVERYTHING.

The second reason is that I have been sick.  Being sick with two new puppies, 4 kids, 3 cats, and a hubby....not exactly a picnic.  Ha Ha

...............................................................................................................................

The first card I made was inspired by Kristina Werner's lesson.

I used Lawn Fawn's Make Lemonde and Gingham Backdrops.  I used post-it notes for my masking.

The images were colored with Copics (my favorite coloring medium), and highlighted with clean Wink of Stella

The gingham background was stamped using my MISTI tool and Simon Says Stamp Lemon Chiffon ink.

...............................................................................................................................

My second card was inspired by Shari Carroll's Day 1 Lesson.

For my mask, I used a post-it note and a 1 3/4 circle punch.

The circle was inked with Wplus9 ink.   The florals were stamped using WPlus9's Fresh Cut Floral's Stamp Set and ink.

I added clear Wink of Stella to the florals and highlighted the greeting with a clear Spica pen.  A bit of twine and the foam tape to the panel, and my card was finished.

I am tremednously enjoying seeing all the techniques and inspiration that the instructors have to offer.

Have a great day!
